The Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has a couple of online systems in place to allow for the submissions of visa applications online. In this post, I will share with you how to create an Online Services user account which you can use to apply for a working holiday visa and a Silver Fern visa, or submit an expression of interest for the Skilled Migrant Category residency program.
1. Navigate to the Immigration New Zealand website.
2. Click on Login then select Working Holiday Visas from the dropdown list.
Online Services deals with Working Holiday and Silver Fern Visa applications and Skilled Migrant Category – Expression of Interest (for residency). Pick any three and you will still end up with an Online Services account.
3. Click Login or Create Account.
4. A new webpage will pop-up. Click Create an Account. Please read instructions carefully.
5. Fill in your details in the next page then click Register once finished.
6. Check confirmation email.
Now you have an Online Services account with the Immigration New Zealand. Having this account is really handy as you are able to see your current visa status in and the history of all your visa applications.
This is what mine looks like:
And if you click Find out more in the lower right-hand side, this would pop-up.
The first section (Immigration Status) shows the exact details I have on my current visa label.
You can see that my years-old Working Holiday visa application still appears in the second section (Online Applications).
The third section (Immigration Applications) is my most checked part of this website. This is where you shall see updates of any pending applications. I did not redact my working holiday visa application so you have an idea what the text looks like.
The last section (Health Certificate Details) will show the most current medical report you have with INZ.
Hope this has been helpful and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to use the comment form.
